About Acupuncture
The meridian (i.e. energy channel) system is similar to the traffic network. They distribute along our physical body in a 3 – dimensional fashion. In total, there are around 360 acupoints located along the meridians.
When the treatment principle and methodology are defined, practitioners will compile a proper prescription of acupoints to treat each individual case.
The manipulation of the needles will stimulate the energy at the acupoint and restore the internal balance back in order.
Acupuncture is called “Zhen Jiu” in Chinese. Zhen is the needle and Jiu is the moxa.
